Payment Policy
Effective 2-1-2025

At Brown Legacy Memorial, we are committed to providing compassionate and transparent service while helping families navigate the financial aspects of honoring their loved ones.

 

      1.   Full Payment Required Before Services:

·      

·        Before any services can be officially scheduled, 50% of the total bill must be paid.

·    Additionally all services must be paid in full 48-72 hours prior to the scheduled service.

  ·     If full payment is not received within this timeframe, the service may need to be rescheduled to allow the family additional time to ensure the balance is paid.

      2.   Payment Options:

·       We accept cash, credit/debit cards, certified checks, and electronic payments (PayPal and Venmo are currently the only options).

·       Payment plans can only be approved by a financial institution (bank or credit union).

***This does not include pre-need arrangement payments.

      3.   Insurance Assignments:

·       We accept verified life insurance assignments as a payment option if they are not contestable (it must be over two years in maturity). Families must provide policy information at the arrangement meeting to allow time for verification and processing.

·       At this time, no processing fee will be applied to any insurance assignments. However, this could change if the process becomes more cumbersome than usual.

      4.   Oversized Fees:

·       Additional fees may apply for individuals requiring oversized caskets, cremation containers, or accommodations.

      5.   Non-Payment Policy:

·       In cases where payments are not fulfilled, Brown Legacy Memorial reserves the right to reschedule services or withhold merchandise until payment arrangements are made and paid in full.
